  • Voltage Optimisation (VO) has been used extensively in the plastics and injection moulding industry for many years to reduce energy costs on-site. Powerdown220 Reduces Annual Energy Costs at Brother Industries by £41K

  • We partnered with Brother Industries, based in Wrexham have a dedicated injection moulding division that delivers precision injection moulding services to a range of blue chip clients.

  • By installing a voltage optimiser, Brother not only boosted their bottom line but also reduced their annual carbon emissions by a remarkable 25 tonnes.

  • That’s equivalent to planting 775 trees.

  • Elsewhere, the company also made annual savings worth £41K and saw a return on investment within 18 months.

Fischbach Reduce Annual Carbon Emissions With Voltage Optimisation

Guaranteed Energy Savings Against Rising Energy Prices

  • Fischbach, an injection moulding market leader in the supply of cartridges, nozzles and plunger systems for the sealants and adhesives industry, faced a huge increase in their kwh rate from their energy supplier, with their annual costs increasing owing to the energy crisis. They turned to voltage optimisation to protect their business from spiraling energy cost rises and benefit from its fast payback and stable long-term results.

  • Following a full technical survey, we pledged that the Voltage Optimiser would deliver a minimum saving of 7.22%, which was further underpinned by the Powerdown220 Savings Guarantee. With these figures in mind, they were able to budget and plan, helping to protect against their increase in energy costs.

A Stable Power Supply and a 163-tonne Reduction in Carbon

  • In addition, Fischbach is also benefiting from a more stable power supply on-site, with their equipment only drawing the energy that it needs to run at its optimal level, rather than having to work harder due to excess energy from the grid.

  • As a result, the voltage optimiser will help increase the lifespan of the equipment and save on future expenditures by reducing ongoing maintenance and replacement costs across the site. The voltage optimiser has also reduced Fischbach’s carbon footprint by 163 tonnes of harmful carbon emissions a year.
